michael aram for dogs, 2026

Michael Aram makes metalwork by hand in India, cast from pieces first sculpted in clay, and a handful of those pieces are made for dogs and the people who keep them. Five are in the wagl edit, from $50 to $175. Every price is in USD as listed by Michael Aram, checked on 27 October 2026. Prices and stock change, so the Michael Aram page is the final word.

wagl is not paid for these links at the time of writing; each piece is sold and shipped by Michael Aram. Our full disclosure is here.

how we chose

Only pieces already in the edit, described from the Michael Aram listing. No piece here was sent to us.

dog bone bowl, $130

Polished nickel plate over steel, the rim worked as a ring of bones. Made by the artisans of the Delhi studio. 8 in across and 2.25 in high, holding 28 oz.

Honest note: hand wash only, so it suits a dog's water bowl on a counter or a tray better than a bowl that goes through the dishwasher every night.

dog bone canister, $175

A tall treat canister in textured polished aluminium with a wood-grain finish, an acacia lid with a silicone seal and a sculpted gold-tone bone handle. 10 in high and 7 in across, made to stand beside the bowl.

Honest note: the largest piece of the five; on a small kitchen counter it is a presence, not an accent.

dog scoop, $75

A mirror-polished stainless steel cup with a small brass dog resting its paws on the rim. Holds one cup, and sits beside or inside the canister.

Honest note: the brass will warm and darken with handling unless it is polished now and then.

dog bone frame, 4x6, $105

An open lattice of nickel-plated bones around a 4 by 6 inch photograph, backed in black velvet with an easel stand for either orientation. About 9 by 7.5 in overall.

Honest note: the lattice is busy, so it flatters a simple photograph more than a crowded one.

dog bone frame ornament, $50

A miniature version of the frame for a 2 by 3 inch photograph, hung from a black ribbon with a signed charm. 4.5 by 3.75 in.

Honest note: small enough to post with a card, and the least expensive piece in the edit; it reads as a token rather than a main gift.

before you buy

• bowl, canister and scoop are made to sit together; the frames are sold on their own.
• everything here is metal finished by hand, so small variations from the photograph are normal.
• shipping, returns and care questions go to Michael Aram, not to wagl.
